Meatballs in tomato sauce
300g of minced meat
1/4 loaf
2 eggs
1 medium carrot and onion
4 cloves of garlic (2 in minced meat, 2 in sauce)
1.5 tbsp. with bitter tomato paste
1 tsp starch
1 liter of water
Greens, spices to taste
Fill the loaf with water, finely chop the onion, grate the carrot on a fine grater.
Mix minced meat, half an onion, carrots, eggs, garlic, a loaf of bread (squeeze it out of the water), add salt, oregano, and form small meatballs.
We fry them in a pan in a small amount of oil, a crust should form, do not bring them to readiness, because they will still be stewed in the sauce.
Prepare the sauce: mix pasta, starch and water. Fry the second part of the chopped onion in oil, add garlic and pour in the diluted paste, bring to a boil, add salt and pepper, add oregano, paprika.
Add one meatball and a bay leaf to the sauce, cover with a lid and simmer for 15 minutes until ready.
